Metal Sonic 2.0

Aaaand I’m back with another picture! So, I have recently been playing around with the 3D graphics program Blender a little bit, and it occurred to me to import an old Metal Sonic model I had made in Lightwave but had never rigged or rendered. One import, a bit of armature setup, and a lot of playing around with Blender’s really cool cycles rendering engine later, I produced this! I’m no 3D modeling expert, but I am rather pleased with the results - Especially compared when to my previous effort, submitted waaaaaaaaay back in 2004: [link]

Though I modeled this in Lightwave, I could just have easily modeled it in Blender – so, if you want to try your hand at 3D modeling, give Blender a shot!
